TRES PASOS COFFEE
We began as a coffee tour operator in Antigua, Guatemala, where we saw firsthand the challenges small producers face. Many can't demand fair margins for their quality work, and their high-grade coffee is often blended with other beans, diminishing its unique value.
One of these producers, Luis Minas, inspired us with his passion and insight into Guatemala's coffee industry. Partnering with Luis and other voices like his, we shifted to roasting full-time, selling single-origin coffee to showcase their incredible craft. By doing so, we empower these talented producers and bring their stories directly to you.

Leonardo Giron
Head Roaster
Originally from Chicago, he grew up traveling to Guatemala, his family's homeland. He has always loved drinking coffee but like many, didn't know all the work that goes into it. For the past 6 years he's been living in Antigua, learning the importance of coffee and the opportunity it offers to so many.
Luis Minas
Coffee Producer
As a young producer, Luis has worked towards his independence from the status quo. His father is the president of the San Miguel Escobar cooperative, and his uncle is their roaster. Luis knows the opportunities that come with building his business. His youth and eagerness to experiment have led to several fermentation experiments with many more planned for the future.
